The Fish House by Guz Architects is an eco-friendly seafront house embracing Singapore’s tropical climate by creating an open space, which allows the residents to enjoy the spectacular ocean views. Natural light, ocean breezes and tropical flora, have been integrated into the design, so that inhabitants feel close to nature inside this high-tech waterfront home.
It is constructed of wood, steel and glass, and features a swimming pool that connects the house with the landscape. The basement level media room comes with a u-shaped acrylic window that brings in the natural light. The curved rooms are covered with photovoltaic panels to meet the energy needs of the house.1
